How we run a project, from the first call to the final walkthrough.
A remodel or an outdoor build is a big decision, and you should know how it will go before you commit. This page walks through our process and the six standards we hold ourselves to on every job.

Design. Plan. Build. Enjoy.
Every project follows the same four steps. A bigger job makes each step longer, but the order stays the same.
DesignThe consultation
We meet at your home. You show us the space and tell us what isn't working. We ask how you use it, who uses it, and what you want it to feel like. We measure and look at what's there, including the things you may not have thought about, such as where the sun lands at five in the evening or which wall carries the roof.
If you already have drawings or are working with a designer, we're glad to build from those. One of our outdoor kitchens began that way.
PlanThe detailed proposal
Next you get a written proposal that lists the scope of work, the materials, and what isn't part of the job. Read it slowly and ask about anything that isn't clear. It's the document both of us will point back to later.
PlanSelections, scheduling, and project planning
Once you approve the proposal, we finalize the design and your selections. That means species and stain, tile and grout, hardware, fixtures, and finishes. We build the schedule and get materials lined up. If your project needs a permit, this is when that gets sorted out. We do all of it up front so that once work starts, it keeps going.
BuildThe managed build
We manage your project day to day. You get progress updates and a dedicated client portal with organized project information, so you can see where things stand without having to call and ask. When something needs your decision, we bring it to you early, with options.
EnjoyThe final walkthrough
When the work is done, we walk it with you. We open every door and drawer and look at every joint and edge. Anything that isn't right goes on a list, and we finish the list before we call the job done.
Your schedule, selections, and updates live in one client portal.
Six standards. Every project.
We wrote these down because a standard you can't name is a standard you can't be held to.
Craftsmanship that holds up
Plenty of work looks right on the last day. We care how it looks ten years later, so we choose methods and materials for how they age in Lubbock, where the air is dry, the sun is hard, and the wind carries grit. That means the right fasteners outside, the right prep under tile, and wood that has settled to your home before it's installed. Most of what makes a job last is hidden once it's done, and we build that part with the same care as the part you can see.
Clear, detailed proposals
A one-line quote is easy to write and easy to argue about later. Our proposals spell out the scope of work, the materials, and what isn't included. If an allowance is used for something you haven't picked yet, it's labeled as an allowance. You should be able to hand the proposal to a friend and have them understand exactly what's being built.
Communication you don't have to chase
The most common complaint about contractors is silence. You won't have to wonder if anyone is showing up. You get progress updates as the work moves, and a client portal that keeps your project information in one place. If something changes, such as a late delivery or a surprise inside a wall, you hear it from us first, along with what we plan to do about it.
Respect for your home
We're guests in your house. We protect the floors and furniture that are staying, keep the work area orderly, and clean up as we go, and we stay mindful of your driveway, your pets, your kids, and your neighbors. How a crew treats your home while the work is messy tells you a lot about how they'll finish it.
Professional planning and scheduling
Most delays start before the job does, with a tile that was never ordered or a decision that was never made. We settle selections, design, and scheduling up front, and we plan the order of work so trades aren't stacked on top of each other. A well-planned project feels calm even when a lot is happening.
Accountability after completion
We finish with a walkthrough, and we check the work together. After that, we're still a phone call away. We're a family company, and our clients are our neighbors. Our name is on the work, and we intend for our family to be proud of that name for a long time.

How you do anything is how you do everything.
Taylor Giovanni, ownerThat line is how Taylor works, and it's how this company runs. A crew that sweeps up at the end of the day is the same crew that takes the time to get a miter tight. A company that writes a careful proposal is the same company that will call you back.
We serve homeowners who value quality over shortcuts, communication over uncertainty, and work they can take pride in for years. If that sounds like you, we'd like to hear about your project.
What we ask of you
Tell us your real budget and priorities. Make selections on time so the schedule holds, and tell us right away if something doesn't look right to you. A project goes best when both sides say what they mean.
