Interior remodeling in Lubbock, done with a finish carpenter's eye.
We remodel kitchens and baths, lay hardwood and tile, and build the trim, cabinetry, and built-ins that make a room feel finished. Every job starts with a consultation and a detailed proposal.

Giovanni Crafted Interiors is the interior remodeling side of Giovanni Home Services, a family-owned company in Lubbock, Texas. We handle the work from the first design conversation through the final walkthrough.
The inside of a house is where the details show.
You live with interior work every day, so you notice all of it: the gap where a baseboard meets a door casing, the lip where tile meets wood under your bare feet, the cabinet door that never quite closes. Small misses like those make a remodel feel cheap even when the materials weren't.
We approach every interior job the way a finish carpenter does. Tolerances are tight and there's nowhere to hide a mistake, so the planning has to come first. A floor should be laid out before the first board goes down so the cuts land where they should. Tile gets planned from the center of the room instead of whichever wall is closest, and built-ins have to be scribed to your walls, which are never as straight as they look.
Flooring is a specialty of ours. That includes standard layouts, continuous runs through doorways, herringbone, and feature strips. One of our favorite projects is an entry where black hex tile is cut into walnut planks, piece by piece. You can see it on our projects page.

What this climate does to interior work.
Lubbock air is dry most of the year, so wood gives up moisture and shrinks. Flooring nailed down the day it comes off the truck will open up gaps by winter. Wood has to settle to the conditions inside your home first, and a moisture meter is how you know it's ready.
City water averaged 169 parts per million hardness in the 2025 water quality report, which is hard water. It leaves scale on shower glass, dark fixtures, and natural stone. We bring that up when you're choosing finishes, because the prettiest sample in the showroom isn't always the one you'll like after a year of showers.
Then there's dust. Fine grit rides in on the wind and works on a floor like sandpaper, so finish sheen, entry mats, and where hard surfaces meet soft ones matter more here than in most places.
Lubbock's older neighborhoods and its newer southwest side get remodeled for different reasons, and we work in both. See our area guides for more on each part of town.
You should know what you're getting before anything is torn out.
An interior remodel happens in the middle of your life, with the kitchen out of service and plastic over a doorway. So we do the thinking first. You get a written proposal with the scope, the materials, and what isn't included, and we line up selections and materials before work starts so the job doesn't sit idle waiting on a faucet.
During the build you get progress updates and a client portal with your project information. At the end we walk the room together and check every detail.
